Breast Cancer and Prostate Cancer Peer Navigator Programs. Sleek and upscale in a neighborhood that’s on a lower economic rung, Fruitridge Health & Wellness offers reduced-cost medicine to qualifying patients and each week purchases enough fruit and vegetables from the Sacramento farmers market to give 80 patients bags of produce worth about $20 each. Nutrition and cooking classes are paired with the produce program. Fruitridge’s medicine, like its intentions, is high quality too.
